Hi, I’m Doula Barb.
I’m a birth & postpartum doula, childbirth educator, potty training consultant and positive discipline parent educator.
My passion for birth & babies began way back in ‘03 when I landed my first job as an early childhood educator. Learning about little brains fascinated me so I spent the next 6 years working as an Early Childhood Educator (birth through age 5).
Later, after the birth of my first child, I realized how much support was missing for birthing families. So, in ‘13, I certified as a Professional Birth & Postpartum Doula and have spent the last twelve years working as a birth doula, agency owner & childbirth educator.
I’m retired from doula work and combined my love for birth, babies, and early childhood into my own new baby - doulabarb.com. Here, I offer support from pregnancy through potty training.
